Micro Incision or "Needle" Phlebectomy

This procedure used to remove branch varicosities is an alternative to the various sclerotherapy techniques, and can avoid the discoloration and staining associated with those treatments. Perfected by a French vascular surgeon, this procedure can be performed virtually through needle punctures that require no healing. The vein is immediately removed; return to activity is immediate. Compression stockings are worn for approximately 5 days afterwards.
